In 2005, Dawn R. Oree founded Phenomenal Spaces by Dawn, LLC; a  full-service design firm for both residential and commercial clients.  Her love for clean lines and bright colors is the foundation of the company's focus on design of modern spaces.  A strong desire to share in leaving a legacy for future generations is her motivation for incorporating Sustainable "Green" Design in the company's practices.

A native Detroiter, Dawn has always had an affinity for elements of structural design and aesthetics.  From a very early age, she created beautiful surroundings, artwork and spent hours in galleries and fabric stores; indicators of her career in design.

Dawn graduated from Wayne University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art/Interior Design.  During her studies, she spent many hours learning the principles and practices of the Bauhaus Masters - in particular, those of Mies van der Rohe.   This course of study grounded her affinity towards modern design.

Dawn's passion for interior design is reflected in the beautiful surroundings that she creates.   Her ability to effectively communicate with various types of industry professionals, and facilitate project pitfalls has become the cornerstone of her client's trust.  

Dawn is a former member of the USGBC Heartland Regionalization Task Force, and is currently pursuing both NCIDQ and LEED certification.
